ABOUT THE AUTHOR

SANDRA BUCHANAN


​Sandra Buchanan (B. Sc.) worked in the rehabilitation field for many years as an occupational therapist prior to obtaining her personal training certification and launching her own fitness company, Suncoastfit.  Being an avid runner all her life, Sandra has completed many run events including 10ks, half marathons, and one full marathon.  Grounded in her passion for running she developed and leads the "Walker to 30 Minute Runner" clinics on the Sunshine Coast, BC, where she lives with her husband, Todd and their dog, Scarlett.  Watching her clients transition from avid walkers to successful runners led her to write this book and share the insights which will help many more people develop the ability to run for 30 minutes!
